The Center for Lifespan Developental Science (CELISE) brings together national and international researchers with an interest in human development across the lifespan. Our work provides scientific insights that help understand and enhance development from infancy to old age. The center offers a collaborative working environment for basic and applied researchers from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds, as well as training and networking opportunities for students and early career researchers.

Projects at the CELISE bring together researchers in Jena, in other cities across Germany, and in countries around the globe.
