September 25th, 2018: CELISE Inaugural Workshop
On September 25th, 2018, the CELISE hosted its Inaugural Workshop in the Rosensäle of the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena. After guests were welcomed by the CELISE director, Michaela Riediger, Derek Isaacowitz (Northeastern University) delivered the keynote address entitled “Socioemotional aging: Expecting differences, finding similarity.” CELISE scientists and researchers then presented posters introducing their projects and current findings and discussed them with those in attendance. The poster sessions, and the following evening reception, provided a collegial environment where the Center’s goal, to foster collaborative research in developmental science, could be advanced.
